Hi! I’m Cari Rooney, a lifelong Arizonan based in Gilbert. I’m a proud wife—celebrating 21 years of marriage with my amazing husband—and mom to five incredible kids, ranging from 12 to almost 20.

I discovered my love for cookies when my youngest started preschool and I took a decorating class… and I was instantly hooked! Now, Tangled In Sugar is a one-person shop—I make the dough, bake the cookies, decorate them, color and bag the frosting, and even create my own content. Every cookie is truly handcrafted from start to finish.
